Towards a Research Agenda on Just Transition in Switzerland

Key themes and research pathways

Parallel session at the Sustainability Science Forum
26 November, Eventforum Bern

13:15 - 14:30

Language: English

Organisation: Johanna Huber and Nils Moussu (Durabilitas)

This session invites participants to collaboratively imagine the table of contents for a future edited book on Just Transition in Switzerland. This co-creation exercise allows for mapping the contours of a field that is still emerging in the Swiss context. It also helps identify key themes, tensions, research questions as well as knowledge gaps. What chapters must be written – and from which (inter)disciplinary perspectives? What questions remain unanswered? What collaboration is needed, and how can we build a research community around Just Transition? Through dialogue and collective reflection, this session aims to foster academic collaboration and lay the conceptual basis for developing a research agenda on Just Transition in Switzerland.
